TestGen Plug-in

To be able to view and take a TestGen test within a browser or web-based product such as CourseCompass™ you must install the TestGen Plug-in. Students must always check wtih their instructor to determine which version of the plug-in is required for their course.

Important: Tests created with the latest version of the TestGen application must run on the latest version of the TestGen Plug-in. If your test does not load, you may not have the appropriate version of the TestGen Plug-in. Ask your instructor which version of the TestGen application was used to create your test, and then consult the table below to see which Plug-in version you should install.

* TestGen Plug-in 6.x and 7.x do not support the Windows 98 or Mac 9.2.2 operating systems. If your instructor has created a test with TestGen 6.0 or later and you have Windows 98 or Mac 9.2.2, ask your instructor to either give you a paper version of the test or to recreate it in TestGen 5.5.
